RM-1000
The RM-1000 Remote Monitor is a multifunctional remote control unit developed exclusively for Zephyr's wind turbines.
With the RM-1000, you can check output power (instantaneous generated output) as well as the total power generation (daily/monthly/total) and the amount of CO2 reduction, with the data being accumulated.
This function is essential when data submission is required. The unit also comes with the data logger feature by an MMC (MultiMedia card), allowing data collection without computers.
The collected data can be downloaded via the MMC and easily managed on a PC. Analog output is also available for viewing real-time wind conditions.
The power output can be changed according to Airdolphin's rotations, so for example, you can sync the water flow of a fountain to the speed of the wind turbine, or control lightings -- an ideal feature for live events or environmental educations.
The RM-1000 upgrades Airdolphin to a more easy-to-use, high-level system.
Real-Time Output Power Display

Using the data from Airdolphin, output power is digitally displayed in real-time. |
Power Generation Display
![]() |
The accumulated power generation for the day, the month, and total amount are displayed. You can see the accumulated amount for the previous day and previous month by pressing a key. |
CO2 Reduction Display

The RM-1000 also collects data on CO2 reduction. See your contribution to the global environment at a glance. |
Wind Direction, Wind Speed, and Temperature Display

By connecting the optional AT-10 unit, you can also display wind direction, wind speed, and temperature. You can observe the turbine and wind movements with the digital wind speed display and analog wind direction display. You can also see the temperature and the day's maximum wind speed by pressing a key. |
Operating Conditions in 3-Color LED Display

You can check Airdolphin's operating conditions with the LED display, which lights up in the same pattern as the main unit. |
Airdolphin On/Off Control

You can turn the Airdolphin on or off from the RM-1000. |
Normal Mode/Stall Mode Control
![]() |
You can switch Airdolphin's operation modes on the RM-1000. The Soft Mode is suitable for night time, when you want slower rotation and quieter operation. The Normal Mode allows Airdolphin to operate freely. The available options during actual operation are Normal Mode, Soft Mode, and Stop. |
Analog Output
Analog voltage output provides power linked to Airdolphin's rotation level or generated output. It can be used to control fountains and lightings.
MMC Data Logger Feature

All data input from Airdolphin or the optional AT-10 are recorded on MMC (MultiMedia Card). |
Internet Sever Feature
The RM-1000 has an internet server feature. By assigning an IP address to the RM-1000, you can view the web version of the RM-1000 on your browser without having to install software on your PC. You can also see additional RM-1000 features in pop-up display, such as accumulated power, CO2 reduction, and climate information. The wind turbine can also be controlled from your PC.
